Bewitched Rattery The Most Enchanting Creatures
EST.: 2022

EST.: 2022
I have a somber announcement to make.
After conversations with my family, we have collectively decided that I will be stepping away from breeding pet rats for an undetermined time.
This was a heavy decision to make, and not taken lightly. I prioritize the happiness and well-being of my immediate family above all.
At this time, we have decided to keep a small number of rats as pets only.
I am currently networking with several contacts to rehome all my other precious potatoes.
My seniors are all staying. It would be cruel and inhumane to uproot them at this point, and they have only known my family for most or all of their lives.
This includes:
Female:
Peach, Rosie, Ogopogo, and Freya
Male:
Scorpion, Zeno, and Frost.
I am keeping all of the female dwarves, because I can't bear to part with them.
This includes:
Liberty, Mouse, Glee, Pumpkin, Rue, Ebony, and likely Topaz. Should I decide to rehome Topaz, she will be paired with another female dwarf and made available to a home with other females, preferably also dwarves or a mix of dwarf and standard.
Lexi has selected the following standard males to keep as her pets:
Jon Arbuckle
Onyx
Ollie
Macaroni
Nightmarrionne
A couple of my rats are/may be pregnant, Bonnie, and Peppermint Patty.
They are expecting litters around February 17.
Bonnie will be moving to Stellar Rattery.
Peppermint Patty will be moving to Precious Pups Rattery.
Several people in the rat breeding community have reached out to help, and for this, I can't describe my gratitude.
Should there be rats still in need of new hammocks after my contacts have made selections, they will be posted on the Available Rats page for pet homes. Their fee for adoption will be reduced to $15 per rat or $30 per trio. An application for adoption is still required.
My rats are my heart.
To have the support of those in the community who I know will take every step to provide the best care for my beloved rats makes this decision easier to accept and cope with. To know that my lines will go on under the care and expertise of those I admire and respect helps take some of the sting out of it.
This is not goodbye.
We still plan to be pet owners and if you're obliged to still follow me, I'd love to continue supplying you with content.
I do not wish to leave the breeding community, and want to maintain the valued connections I have made. I still want to learn about these amazing creatures and watch others promote the species and their betterment.
