Bewitched Rattery Code of Ethics

To breed healthy animals of the appropriate age and sound temperament, and produce the highest quality in excellence possible

To strive for continuous growth and learning, continually improving, to ensure my knowledge, care, and standards remain at their highest

To breed with love and humane practices within my capabilities, not solely for money or prestige.

Be supportive to those who adopt from me. Offer ongoing support and education through the lifetime of the rats.

Always let them come back home. Rats I have produced can ALWAYS be returned to me, for any reason, at any age.

Never adopt to backyard breeders, pet stores, or people who refuse to take proper care of their pets.

Maintain a clean and properly enriched rattery and enclosures.

Be transparent and honest.

NEVER adopt out sick rats.

ALWAYS ensure transparency with adopters of any ongoing issues or problems as they relate to the rats.
